From a lookout beneath Tabletop Mountain (I think the name is). In the distance to the right is downtown Anchorage. Clouds should be a prerequisite when shooting for HDR outdoors!

At one of the places along the bike path was this little path into the trees. What really attracted me to take the photo was the light colored tree bark and the bright green leaves. This was off the Tony Knowles Trail in Anchorage, Alaska.

Cycling Around Anchorage

A great ride around the coast in Anchorage; The Tony Knowles Trail. The day started a bit gray but the skies opened up and this mild ride provided a nice, scenic ride through the trees and around the coastline. We caught a glimpse of a pair of moose on the ride. So great! I want to go back.

Alaska flightseeing. As we circled down to our landing area on the glacier we flew over several crevasses. The scale of things up in the air and the enormity of the mountains in Denali makes it hard to tell just how deep these were.
